What is Hormones Replacement Therapy?

You  are vibrant due to your balanced physical state where the hormones, vitamins and minerals, anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids are in a balanced state of health.

When you are exposed to too much of stress for too long, our body age faster and the hormones and our nutritional status will decline. Your body is in degeneration mode.

Hormones are specific chemical messengers to your body   that affect the other cells in other parts of your body. Hormones that are found in your body will include:

  • THYROID HORMONES
  • SEX HORMONES : ESTROGEN ,TESTOSTERON ,PROGESTERONS
  • HAPPY AND MEMORY HORMONE: PREGNENOLONE
  • METABOLIC HORMONES :INSULIN
  • REPAIR HORMONES :GROWTH HORMONES
  • STRESS(NATURAL STEROIDS) HORMONES:  CORTISOL ,DHEA
  • SLEEP HORMONE: MELATONIN
  • FAT ASSOCIATED HORMONE : LEPTIN,ADIPONECTIN,RESISTIN,GHRELIN
  • WATER REGULATION  HORMONE : VASOPRESSIN
  • SOCIAL AND BONDING HORMONES : OXYTOCIN
  • RED BLOOD HORMONES : ERYTHROPOIETIN
  • PRESSURE CONTROL  AND BALANCE : ALDOSTERONE

These are just a small example of the hormones that are in your body.

When there is a decline on any of them, it will be the result of hormonal imbalance and eventually you will begin feeling unwell and not optimized. You will say: “This is not me!” Hence, when you feel unwell such as body ache   or fatigue, you will go to the doctor in order to find solutions .Instead, symptomatic treatment is only being given. The symptoms may recur.

Therefore, it makes sense to balance the hormones by doing the correction and this is what we call hormone replacement therapy .It is not just the sex hormone  replacement that you need to do but a total body analysis. These hormones are inter-related with the rest of other organ function.

The next important question you need to ask is the quality of hormones that you replace with. Using the synthetic ones has chemical structure like our body but they are actually not the same. A Bio-Identical Hormone (BIH) is hormones that are identically yours and hence, it is able to sit on its receptors very well and is identical to the human structure.

For you to balance the hormones well, the RIGHT dosage of the RIGHT Bio-identical Hormones is the next important step to consider. This step requires a proper physician to guide YOU! Remember , Your hormones need fine-tuning and not too little and not too much.

    HI Terence
It is Epithalamin…it contains peptides from the pineal glands that are found helpful in restoring the hypothalamic senstivity to a youthful level and inhibits free radical process .In addition to that it has promising effect on diabetes. It needs more research but at least this news is good . If you want to prevent diabetes, beside eating healthily and exercise, you must also sleep early… by 1030 pm the latest !! Dr NOR
